Why Contemporary World Affairs?

The answer to this question is the central theme of this task.  The 21st Century poses some really significant problems that will require the informed decision-making of global citizens.  A primary goal of this class is to create those informed global citizens.



So, as you pay attention to what is going on in the world (reading, watching, listening), find major problem areas that interest, incite, or annoy you.  Begin to digest the causes and effects that accompany the problems of your choice.  Finally, seek answers and solutions to these problems.



You will take the problem you feel the most passionate about, and create a public service announcement (PSA) creatively using iMovie or another video editing software.
